Someone in Sherman, Texas is selling this 1994 Skyline. The ad says that it is NOT a replica. Is there a way that this car COULD be sold legally in the US? Or Nah?

There was apparently a company that had a licence to import these or something. Dsscats and a few other people will probably drop by and know a lot more about that than me.

If it was a motorex car, then yes, its allowed

They were shutdown by the feds and the incorrectly imported vehicles were seized and destroyed. As far as I know, the correctly imported ones are still street legal, but that's a little bit of speculation

Only if it's a motorex car. If not its destined for the crusher

It would be legal if it was a Motorex car as he claims....
...but it's not. People have called the NHTSA to verify if it has a bond release. It doesn't.

If it really is a motorex car, then yes. Everyone claims that theirs is though, so it would need some checking out.

Also, so many bad decisions in one picture.

They got certain vehicles bond released which really shouldn't have been, but all the bond released cars are still legal. The only Motorex car I know of which was seized was Big Bird, the yellow R33 GTR from Fast and Furious. It didn't have VIN tags and wasn't bond released in the first place

From what I heard, they couldn't actually track all of them down. But only had the licences to import the R33, started importing R34s and just said "fuck it" and let the rest of the owners keep their cars.

So you know about this particular car?

It's a GTS-T car yet he put GT-R badges on it?
I don't even care if it is legal, CP because 30k will likely be the price you're paying to buy and legally import a proper R33 GT-R when it's allowed in.
